Family Worker Jenny Spring has been with the Hub since 2006 and enjoys working with young families to navigate common issues and get the most out of family life.  Jenny is passionate about parenting and facilitates Parenting Courses both one-on-one and in group settings on a weekly basis.

In recent years, Jenny has also taken on the role of Support Group Coordinator for two of our longest running support groups: FACETS and Grandparents as Parents which gives her the opportunity to share information and avenues of support in a relaxed, social setting.  In her ‘spare’ time Jenny likes to get together with family and work on her hobby farm where she has a mix of sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, a cat or two and a dog.

Since then, the program has grown and developed so that not only is NILS available for low income earners to borrow for household goods and some services such as car repairs, there is now a NILS4Vehicles program and financial education, assistance with energy bills and Work Directed Orders to help people pay off fines.

Judy is passionate about helping people manage their finances in a way that builds their capability and loves being able to steer people away from high cost payday lenders and appliance rental companies.
