Dedicated to access and equality, Naomi oversees an amazing group of people providing advocacy, family support, information, advice and referral and promotes a culture of self-determination and connection.

Down time is spent with family, on her ride-on lawn mower or when possible doing one of her most favourite things...…walking on the beach.

Parenting and Family Support Worker

Family Worker Jenny Spring has been with the Hub since 2006 and enjoys working with young families to navigate common issues and get the most out of family life.  Jenny is passionate about parenting and facilitates Parenting Courses both one-on-one and in group settings on a weekly basis.

In recent years, Jenny has also taken on the role of Support Group Coordinator for two of our longest running support groups: FACETS and Grandparents as Parents which gives her the opportunity to share information and avenues of support in a relaxed, social setting.  In her ‘spare’ time Jenny likes to get together with family and work on her hobby farm where she has a mix of sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, a cat or two and a dog.

Parenting and Family Support Worker

Family worker Rose Thompson is passionate about social justice and seeing every child in our communities have the chance to thrive.

Her strong belief in fair access to resources and opportunities is what fuels her drive to find positive solutions and pathways for families that seek out support through the Hub.

Rose has been dedicated in her role as Parenting and Support Worker since early 2012. Rose’s superpowers are kindness and compassion. Rose is a busy mum, a keen gardener, and loves providing sanctuary to her many rescue animals.

Administration Clerk

Lydia commenced working in the Administration Clerks position in December 2021 so is the newest member of staff. Lydia comes from a background in Aged Care and therapeutic supports and is an enthusiastic addition to the Hub team. Lydia enjoys being ‘front of house’, assisting people with a broad range of enquiries, making clients comfortable while they wait and finding the right support pathway for all who enter.

Lydia is a welcoming and bubbly presence and is currently getting a crash course in event planning. She spends her spare time perusing zany earrings on the internet and wearing them to work for a giggle.

Community and Wellbeing Coordinator

Cathy’s role at the Hub is multi layered as she works closely with the Manager and the Admin Clerk to ensure the smooth operation of the Hub’s day to day processes.

Cathy has a keen interest in Art Therapy and enjoys organising and often facilitating Saturday Art Workshops. Having spent time in disabilities, mental health and Hub triage, Cathy is adept at assisting our Advocacy and Support Clients – assisting with paperwork and forms, online information, referrals and welfare assistance when available.

Cathy has been with the Hub since Feb 2014 and claims to still enjoy every minute!

When Cathy isn’t at work, you are most often likely to find her working on an Art or Craft Project.

Financial Officer

Hilltops Community Hub has been the home of the No Interest Loans Scheme since 2009,  when Judy commenced as a NILS worker in the Young district as an outreach from the head office in Bathurst. Since then, the program has grown and developed so that not only is NILS available for low income earners to borrow for household goods and some services such as car repairs, there is now a NILS4Vehicles program and financial education, assistance with energy bills and Work Directed Orders to help people pay off fines.

Judy is passionate about helping people manage their finances in a way that builds their capability and loves being able to steer people away from high cost payday lenders and appliance rental companies.

Judy is also passionate about music and art, teaching as a part-time music tutor and artist. In her spare time you will find her in the garden or bushwalking.
