No Interest Loan Scheme
Mary MacKillop Today's No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) is an accredited program that was developed by the Good Shepherd Sisters in 1981. The loans do not attract interest and there are no fees. Loans are for up to $2000 and the loan term is for 12 to 18 months.
What the loans are for?

Household items like fridges, washing machines, stoves, dryers, freezers, and furniture

Some medical and dental services
-
Education essentials such as computers and textbooks

Car registration or repairs
-
Some essential services, eg plumbing

Other - funeral costs, vet costs, insurance excess and other items
Who can apply?
The following eligibility criteria applies:

Have lived at your previous or current address for 3 months or more

Have a current Health Care Card/Pensioner Concession Card or be on a low income (less than $70,000 gross p.a. for singles or $100,000 gross annual for couples or people with dependants)

Have the capacity to repay

Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) is a NSW Government Scheme to help customers who are experiencing a short-term financial crisis or emergency and need help to pay their home electricity and/or natural gas (energy) bills.
EAPA is a crisis scheme and not intended to offer ongoing income support.

A WDO with Mary MacKillop Today will let you reduce your fines through our financial education group workshops and one on one coaching.
You could be eligible for a WDO with Mary Mackillop Today if you:

Receive a Centrelink benefit

Are in a financial hardship
NILS4Vehicles
NILS for Vehicles is a fee free, interest free loan of $2,000 to $5,000 that can be paid off over up to 48 months with simple fortnightly repayments. NILS for Vehicles is a variation of our exisiting NILS program.
NILS for Vehicles is for the purpose of a vehicle that is used for transport. This includes cars, motorcycles, mobility scooters and boats.
